Peonies bloom in central Minnesota typically between the last week of May and the first two weeks of June, depending on variety. An early spring can push plants to emerge and bloom sooner than normal, while a late spring can delay the flowering process a week or two. Not all peony varieties bloom at the same time and some may bloom well ahead of others. We have separated our varieties into their respective bloom season to help with planning a longer blooming season within one's garden. If you love peonies as much as we do and want to enjoy a longer blooming season in your garden, may we suggest you select varieties from the different bloom seasons listed at the top of our web site.
