(Wissing, 1964)

Introduced in 1964 by Wissing, this was the first major breakthrough for peonies in the coral color range. A glowing coral-to-peach semi-double peony, with very large flowers on a large, vigorous bush. When buds first open they may appear pink and then turn coral as they age, fading to a buff color before the petals fall. Unfortunately, no fragrance. Often grows taller than 36", and blooms early season with other hybrids.

American Peony Society Gold Medal Winner (1986).
